NEWCOMER SERIES - Please join us for our winter Newcomer Series beginning Feb. 3rd at 9:30 in the Sanctuary. All new members are encouraged to attend to learn more about the history of the Episcopal Church, the history of St. Mark’s and what we are about today. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet other new members and to discover where your place is at St. Mark’s. The series consists of six non-sequential classes and ends with a welcome breakfast. Therefore, if you missed any part of the last series, please feel free to join us for that piece. All are welcome. If anyone has questions, please contact Debbie Siegel @ 704-948-4662.

Showing Your Child The Way - Children learn by example so teach them to get involved in Outreach by volunteering with your child to collect canned goods for Loaves and Fishes.  Bags will be available at the end of January for parents and children to collect canned goods in their neighborhoods.  In addition families can sign up to collect canned goods at local grocery stores either February 2 or February 9th.  This is a simple, easy way to show children how to live ‘the Way” and show the community that St. Mark’s is active in “Living the Way”.  For more information contact David Fahey, Lacy Hamilton or see the signup sheets in the Parish Hall.
