Knitting Group - Would you like to learn to knit? Or would you just like to get together with some friends and knit. Join us in Osborne Hall during coffee hour after 8:30 service to hang out.
Confirmation Classes - For youth 12 to 18 years call the church immediately if you are interested in confirmation preparation. Confirmation is 10:30 May 4th. Adult classes begin April 2nd at 6:30pm for 5 Wednesday evenings and please call the church office to reserve materials and childcare.
Easter Egg Hunt - will take place between services on Easter.
Costa Rica Mission Trip - For those planning to go please be on the lookout for the copy of a fundraising letter to arrive to you via e-mail. This letter, which explains our trip and needs, will be in a PDF format, ready for you to print out and send to your family and friends whom you wish to ask for help in donating funds. Further instructions will be included with the e-mail and letter. If you are planning on going, but do not think you are on the e-mail list, please see Suzanne Ferguson, Gretchen Thill, or Libby James so that you may be added.
Are looking for a way to participate at St. Marks and don't know here to start or don't have a lot of time? Consider becoming a "helping hand". Parish Council is looking for people that would be willing to add their names to a "helping hands" call list. This would provide our committee chairs with a list of folks who would be willing to pitch in from time to time as needed with an occasional donation of time, talent or food items for annual church events. Tasks may include: help with set up, clean up, providing a dish for a reception or newcomer's breakfast as well as an extra set of hands for events such as Halloween on the Hill, Parish Picnic, and Parish Retreat. Please contact Sarah Milholland with questions at smilholl@carolina.rr.com or 704-947-9975.
I am willing to help!
