Please donate any new or used items to our Costa Rica Sewing Mission. Items needed: scissors, needles straight pins, safety pins, elastic-1/4”, 1/2”, 1” or 1 1/2”, fabric 1 1/2 yards & up., ribbon, soap slivers, tape measurers, tracing paper and wheel, seam rippers, rulers & yardsticks, thread, bias tape, pin cushions, hem gauge, pattern weights, interfacing, stitch witchery, irons, zippers, reading glasses. There will be a box available in Osborne Hall for you to place these items in. These supplies will help us help the people of Costa Rica. If you have any questions please call Sally Johnson at 704-597-7667.

W.I.N.E. - will hold its June dinner at Allison Rhinehardt’s home. Please bring your favorite dish to share, tomorrow, Monday, June 16th at 6:30pm. For more details call Suzanne @ 704-594-9926.

L.A.F.– Life After Forty will meet this Saturday, June 21st at 6:30pm at the home of Ralph & Evelyn Fischer. Please bring a favorite dish.

From this Saturday, June 21st   until July 10th - Four deacons from Costa Rica are coming to the NC diocese for an internship. The Rev Irma Whason Mason will be our guest during that time. One is going to St. Albans, one to Raleigh and one to Rocky Mount. July 7th & 8th, Sarah will be conducting a Master Preaching class for all four here at St. Mark’s. While Deacon Irma is here, if you’d like to host her for some St Mark’s fun and fellowship, and a cross-cultural experience, please let the clergy know. She does speak English so communication should be easy.

Next Sunday, June 22nd - We will commission all Building Campaign Leaders at both services and at 9:30 and 11:45. ADW Architects will present our Master plan and Phase 1 of the plan….what goes on the ground first. All please attend.

VBS Registration Completed Forms - can be placed in Molly Thompson’s mailbox.

Committee Heads - that have just retired. Please return your church/parish hall keys to Deacon Jane as soon as possible.
