Please donate any new or used items to our Costa Rica Sewing Mission. Items needed: scissors, needles straight pins, safety pins, elastic-1/4”, 1/2”, 1” or 1 1/2”, fabric 1 1/2 yards & up., ribbon, soap slivers, tape measurers, tracing paper and wheel, seam rippers, rulers & yardsticks, thread, bias tape, pin cushions, hem gauge, pattern weights, interfacing, stitch witchery, (2) irons, zippers, reading glasses. There will be a box available in   Osborne Hall for you to place these items in. These supplies will help us help the people of Costa Rica. Deadline is next Sunday, July 13th and we will be departing for Costa Rica on July 19th. If you have any questions please call Sally Johnson at 704-597-7667.

VBS Registration Completed Forms - can be placed in Molly Thompson’s mailbox.

Financial Reminder - During the weeks of summer please remember to keep your pledges and offering current. Expenses continue while we vacation. Payments may be mailed in.

Christian Formation Retreat-Saturday, July 12th (10-2:30pm) @ St. Patrick’s in Mooresville.      Christian Formation leaders are meeting to vision and plan 2009 and beyond. If you are participating as an instructor in Elementary, Youth, or Adult Sunday School, Children’s Chapel, or Special Programming (VBS, Epiphany Pageant, Lenten Series, Bible Studies) you are      encouraged to attend. If you would like to have a voice in the future of these programs, you are also invited to participate. Lunch is provided. Please contact Michael Thompson (Michael.thompson@pfeiffer.edu) if you plan to come or if you have any questions.

Hymn Request for July/August

If you have a favorite hymn or a new hymn you would like us to learn, please write the title and the hymn number below (from 1982 hymnal or Wonder, Love and Praise). Please place this in the offering. I will make every attempt to fit them in with the readings for July and August. Deadline is next Sunday, July 13th.
