“Traces of Our Trade” - Church and Slavery in North Carolina will take place at St Matthew’s Episcopal in Hillsborough on Saturday, Sept. 6th from 9-4:30pm. Sign-up sheet inside the Parish Building front door & see Rev. Jane.
W.I.N.E. - August meeting will be tomorrow, Monday, August 18th at 6:30pm at the home of Gretchen Thill.
Financial Reminder - During the weeks of summer please remember to keep your pledges and offering current. Expenses continue while we vacation. Payments may be mailed in.
Parents - Encourage your children to collect their penny stacks and work on their posters for the Poster Festival on August 24. Poster board and more information are available in the Children's Chapel. All St. Mark's kids (age 3 and up) are invited to come for a cruise on the Steward Ship today at 9:40 in the Old Rectory. If you can't sail today, join us on August 24th at 9:40 or 11:45.
Stewardship Edition - of Children's Chapel will take place at the 10:30 service today and on the 17th and 24th of August. We will gather at 10:25 on the patio in front of the doors of the church.
Stop Hunger Now - Family Outreach Project scheduled for Saturday, September 27th in the parish hall promptly at 9:15 for a video to be shown before packaging meals and will end at 11:00. Members 5 - 95 can help bag 10,000 meals to help Stop Hunger Now. Children under 5 will be watched in the nursery by staff. Sign up on the sheet inside the Parish Building front door.
