Kanuga Parish Retreat - May 8th-10th.  Sign-up immediately on sheet inside Parish Building door on bulletin board.  We will determine interest to plan or cancel.   

Ash Wednesday Services - This tradition dating from the 7th century continues in two services offered at 12:00 and 7:00 PM this Wednesday, February 25th.  The worship begins with a prayer for new and contrite hearts, followed by the reading of convicting scripture, the invitation and explanation of a holy Lent, the imposition of ashes and the celebration of Holy Communion.   Make plans to join your church family as we begin our Lenten journey together.

Lenten Series - This year’s Lenten Series will begin on March 4th.  We will be reading Michael Schut’s book “Simpler Living - Compassionate Life”.  They are currently on sale in the church office for $12.50.  Each Wednesday night at 6pm we will meet in the Parish Hall for a light meal, followed by a thought provoking discussion from 6:30pm - 7:15pm.  Compline will be celebrated in the church following the class discussion at 7:15pm each of the Wednesday evenings.  Series dates are March 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th and April 1st.  Nursery care will be provided.
