Bishop’s Visit - Please make note, the yearly visitation by a bishop of our diocese is scheduled in 3 weeks. May 3rd, Bishop Alfred “Chip” Marble will preside at the 10:30 service, Confirming, Receiving and Reaffirming all prepared candidates. A reception honoring our newest members and the bishop will follow in Osborne Hall. Vestry members will meet with Bishop Marble following the reception in the Gallery. Please join us for this yearly celebration reminding us of our connection with the Anglican Communion and the Church universal.
Stop Hunger Now - Please join Outreach this Saturday, April 25th at 9:30am for our next big Stop Hunger Now Event. We need all ages to come sort, measure, weigh and pack 10,000 meals. Not only do we help feed a great deal of hungry people, but we enjoy fellowship while doing so. Look for a sign-up sheet in Parish Hall. Those willing to help unload the truck, please come at 8:30am.
Costa Rica - We are planning another mission trip. Want to find out more? Come to an informal meeting about this Costa Rica project next Sunday, April 26th after both services.
Evensong - Next Sunday at 5:00 we celebrate our Patron Saint’s feast day with an Evensong service. The service is an Anglican tradition dating from our first prayer book of 1549. Evensong combines prayers of the evening with choir and congregational singing. Please join us for beautiful and restorative worship.
St. Mark’s Retreats to the Hill - Mark your calendar now. St. Mark’s gathers for fun, food and fellowship at our annual Parish Retreat. End the day with a dinner cook out and evening Variety Show. Activity sign up sheets are posted in the Osborne Hall. Hurry, Hurry, please stop by and register today.
